As Greek as it gets: Captain Nico

Born in Thessaloniki, Nicolas Siaylos has been sailing since he could walk. Learning the sport – and the trade – at the Nautical Club of Thessaloniki, he studied computing and spent some years doing a proper job. He soon got bored with this, so Nico returned to what he does best: Sailing and having a good time.

Kapitän Nicolas Siaylos stammt aus der Hafenstadt Thessaloniki, wo er von klein auf den Segelclub unsicher machte und zwischenzeitlich auch im Team der Griechischen Nationalmannschaft segelte. Nach mehreren Jahren Informatik beschloss er, wieder das zu tun, was er am besten kann: Segeln und Spaß haben.

Ο Νικόλας Σιάϋλος γεννήθηκε στη Θεσσαλονίκη και ξεκίνησε να αρμενίζει πριν ακόμη μάθει να περπατάει. Αθλητής και μέλος του Ναυτικού Ομίλου Θεσσαλονίκης με πολλές διακρίσεις στο άθλημα της ιστιοπλοΐας. Σπούδασε προγραμματιστής Η/Υ όμως η αγάπη και το πάθος του για τη θάλασσα τον έκαναν να γυρίσει σε αυτό που ήθελε πάντα, να αρμενίζει και να κάνει τον κόσμο να μάθει και να αγαπήσει αυτό που τον έχει κερδίσει τόσα χρόνια!
